• Welcome to our First Holy Communion Program! Our program adheres to the guidelines set by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and is designed for children in Elementary Grades 2-6 and Jr. High Grades 7-8.
  
  Program Overview
   Our First Holy Communion Program spans two years and focuses on preparing children for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. This comprehensive program includes:
  

  • Year I: Introduces children to the basics of the Catholic faith.
  • Year II: Deepens understanding of Reconciliation and Eucharist. This year culminates in a special celebration of these sacraments. We also host a one-day retreat for parents and children to reflect and pray.
    

  
  Program Requirements
   To enroll your child in Religious Education classes, please prepare the following:
  

  • Enrollment Packet: Download forms from this page or pick up at the Religious Education Office. Return completed forms to our office.
  • Baptismal Certificate: A copy of your child’s Baptismal certificate is required.

  Special Needs or Additional Sacrament Preparation
  If your child has special needs or requires Sacrament preparation for Baptism, First Reconciliation, or First Holy Communion and is older, please contact our Religious Education Office at (323) 264-1338 to schedule an appointment.
